Postbank(Post Office) SASSA R350 Grant
According to Postbank, it has resolved the technical issues that prevented recipients of R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grants from withdrawing their money, so they may now do so.
The bank added in a statement that "SRD grant payments through our retail merchant partners, including Pick n Pay, Boxer, Checkers, and Usave, have also been completely restored and recipients are able to receive their grant funds through these channels."
SASSA SRD R350 grant payments are no longer made at SA Post Office outlets.
"Customers may now use several of our channels, including as ATMs, retail stores, and in-branch transactions, to access comprehensive Postbank services. "
According to Fin24's report on Friday, the majority of the 10.5 million applicants for the most recent round of awards were unable to access their funds because of a technical issue at the state-owned bank.
It said, "Postbank wishes to remind the public that SASSA SRD 350 grant recipients may only access their SRD 350 grant funds through their neighboring Pick n Pay, Boxer, Checkers, Shoprite, and Usave stores.
